One Vision of Queen featuring Marc Martel

Born in Canada, Marc Martel grew up in Montreal listening to pop music such as George Michael. Martel would start a Christan rock band called Down here with several of his college friends and would spend 13 years recording and touring the globe. When Queen drummer Roger Taylor was organizing a tribute band, Martel did an audition on vocals with the song, "Somebody to Love," and continued touring later with his own group Ultimate Queen Celebration, afterwards released an album of Queen covers, and has toured in over a dozen countries with his new tour, One Vision of Queen, the World’s Most Spectacular Queen Tribute Show.

Gates open for the concert at 4pm on Saturday, August 17 at Centennial Park West (15609 Park Station Blvd.) with supporting acts: Glory Days (Bruce Springsteen Tribute) scheduled from 4:30-6 p.m., Billy Joel Nation (Billy Joel Tribute) from 6:30-8 p.m. followed by headliner ONE VISION OF QUEEN FEATURING MARC MARTEL from 8:30-10 p.m.

Concertgoers are welcome to bring outside food and beverages, as well as lawn chairs and other outdoor items. Local food vendors will be onsite with items available for purchase. The Village will offer alcoholic beverages for purchase for those over 21 years of age.

Free parking is available in the Metra station parking lot located north of Jillian Rd. and Park Station Blvd. Additional over-flow parking is available in the 153rd St. Metra Parking lot.
