How to Submit an Application for Permit

All permits and plans are now to be submitted electronically through the portal

Please Note All Permit submittals must include ALL necessary information or they will be rejected

If an application is rejected due lack of necessary information, ALL documents must be included together with a re-submittal

1. Select the type of permit by searching the list below; you must supply all required documents.
2. Complete and save all fillable PDFs. Handwritten applications are not accepted.
3. Click here or the button below to complete the application, upload all permit-related applications and plans as required by the submittal.    
4. If you are performing any of the work as the homeowner, you must also include the "Homeowner Affidavit" and a copy of the front of your driver's license.

*Due to the severe weather in May 2024, the Village of Orland Park has received a high volume of roof replacement permit applications. Patience regarding your permit status is greatly appreciated. Complete permit submittals are required or they will be denied. Refer to permit types below for required documents.*
