Prohibition: How A Wet Nation Went Dry

Did you know that in colonial times, the average American drank about seven gallons of alcoholic beverages a year, more than three times the current consumption?! Join us at the museum to learn how attitudes about drinking changed in the 19th and 20th centuries and how what was once a "wet" nation dried up. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Instructor: David Clark.
