Update: January 27, 2024 @11 a.m. Water on the roadway has receded and IDOT has opened the roadway to traffic in both directions.
January 26, 2024 - The Illinois Department of Transportation has closed 143rd Street west of Wolf Rd. to Creek Crossing due to high water on the roadway.
