Riviera Country Club Ordered to Close Doors to Public

 

Orland Park, IL (July 29, 2021) - By order of the Village of Orland Park Building Commissioner, Riviera Country Club is closed until further notice.

 

On July 29, 2021, the Riviera Country Club and Banquet Hall was cited for various code violations. The business is temporarily closed pending the correction of the following violations:

 

  • The electrical panel must be repaired to ensure the safety of staff and the general public.
  • All standing water must be removed and cleaned.
  • A mold remediation company must be hired and a report of the findings must be provided by the court date. Any mold found must be remediated by the company.
  • The business license must be brought up to date and all outstanding fees paid.
  • The elevator licenses must be brought up to date and all outstanding fees paid.

 

It is the responsibility of current ownership to schedule an inspection with the Village of Orland Park Development Services Department and correct the violations by 8/10/21.

 

Additionally, a public hearing will be held on 8/2/21 at 3:00 p.m. at the Orland Park Village Hall to determine the possible suspension or revocation of the liquor license held by Riviera Country Club due to violations of the Orland Park Village Code.
