Application Requirements

A permit is required for all new and reroofs, with or without a tear off.

The following is needed to apply for permit:

Completed Roof Permit Application
Contractor's information, if one is being used
Total cost of work
Signed Contract by homeowner
Window/Door Handout (if installing/replacing skylight)
Copy of valid Driver's License of Applicant
Permit fee of $75 for single family residential; multi-family and commercial starts at $90

Inspections Required

A flat roof requires an insulation inspection. All roofs require a final inspection upon completion of work. Inspection requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. Please submit an inspection request online or email inspectionrequest@orlandpark.org. Inspection requests are not taken over the phone.
