Requirements For Approval

The following are required at the time of application:

  • Electronic plans submitted through the portal and three sets of architecturally sealed plans brought to the Development Services Department.
  • Food Service Establishments must submit 1 set of equipment cut sheets and finishes for cabinetry and counters
  • Orland Square Mall Plans need to be mall-approved with a stamp
  • Building Permit Application
  • Zoning Permit Application (To be filled out by Business/Tenant)
  • Business License Application (To be filled out by Business/Tenant)
  • Electrical Permit Application
  • Plumbing Permit Application
  • Mechanical Permit Application
  • Fire Protection Permit Application
  • Permit Fees must be paid as per Village Code Title 5, Chapter 2

Erosion and sedimentation control techniques shall me implemented for all development within the Village. Perimeter protection including silt fencing, sediment basins, debris basins, desilting basins, or silt traps or filters shall be installed, and shall be maintained to remove sediment from run-off waters from land undergoing development. These applications shall be installed prior to any construction on site.

For Contractor license application, or other licenses required, such as: Vending Machines, Tobacco License, Amusement Device, Pet Shop Operator, Massage, refer to License Applications.
