The Recreation and Parks Department offers summer day camps for ages 3 to 5 years and Kindergarten through 7th grade:
- Junior Camp is for children ages 3 to 5 years.
Preschoolers have the opportunity to meet new friends while having fun at this summer camp. Kids will alternate between indoor and outdoor activities. They will learn new songs, create art projects, do science experiments and play active games. All activities are geared for the preschooler and centered around weekly unit studies. Children must be toilet trained.
- Explorers Day Camp is for children in 1st through 2nd grade.
- Trail Blazers Day Camp is for children in 3rd through 5th grade.
- Adventurers Day Camp is for children in 6th through 7th grade.
The day camp program strives to provide the campers with a fun environment that is positive, supervised and safe. Campers have the opportunity to practice and develop appropriate social skills, and learn to make responsible choices. Explorers, Trail Blazers and Adventurers will swim at Centennial Aquatic Center Mondays and Thursdays (no pool on the first Monday of each session) and go on Friday field trips.
We have a three-day (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or a five-day (Monday - Friday) option along with Breakfast Club (before camp) and Camp Plus (after camp) care. Camps are offered in two sessions starting in early June and ending in late July. Both sessions run four weeks. - Campalooza is for children in 1st through 7th grade.
We will have age appropriate games and activities with plenty of fun and time outside. Onsite entertainment will be featured as well. Note: Field trips will not be scheduled for this camp.
Campalooza is a week long camp that meets Monday - Friday. Two sessions are offered during the beginning of August with an option for Breakfast Club (before camp) and Camp Plus (after camp) care. See the current brochure for pricing and location information.
